We welcomed my second daughter to the world just 4 short months ago. When she arrived she was unable to breathe and was immediately sent to the Neonatal ward and placed on CPAP. It was stressful watching her oxygen levels decline and having no idea as to why? It was four days before she was diagnosed with PPHN and a hole in her heart. We spent 10 days in hospital and then another two weeks with her on home oxygen. Followed by specialist visits, chest X-rays, cardio echos and sleep studies.
Today we have a very healthy, strong, happy little girl that lights up our lives with her smile. And every time I look at her I feel overwhelmed with gratitude for her good health and I hold a special Prayer for all Mumma’s of babies that are not in good health and I visualise all children been healthy and happy.
So I ask, what are you grateful for today???
Every time we hold a thought of gratitude, we are inviting more of what we want into our lives.
If you would like to take this practice a step further you may like to ask yourself ‘How May I serve others??’
It may be a good deed or just a moment sending good thoughts and energy to those in need. Every moment spent loving yourself and others, is a moment well spent.
May your day be happy and blessed
