It has been a magical start to my birthday month of May. I have been enjoying integrating mediation into my daily life with the help of Mindfulness in May. The meditation for this week focuses on body mindfulness. It brings awareness into different parts of the body and allows you to experience the subtle sensations in the body. Really tuning in to the muscles and organs to feel for any tightness or tension. You can then bring your breath into these areas to help them to relax.
I really enjoyed to guest mediation "Compassionate Body Scan" by Dr Kristin Neff.
It combines the body awareness with a kindness towards your self and where you are at in this moment. It rings with truth that you are perfect, whole and complete just as you are and helps cultivate more peace within you by melting away expectations or fears.
