"No act of kindness is ever too small". As we go about our daily lives its often easy to forget to practice kindness towards ourselves and others. Practicing kindness does not have to be a grand gesture, often the greatest acts of kindness are the simple things we can do. Not participating in gossip or judging someones appearance is an act of kindness that we often overlook. We are not here to judge others, we are here to help and to serve all of life. Treating all living beings with respect is the greatest step towards kindness and you can practice this daily.
Been mindful of your self talk is another act of kindness, if you find that you are been harsh or negative towards yourself, start practicing affirmations that are loving and kind. For example, if you are critical of your appearance practice saying "I radiate love and beauty from deep within my being. My thoughts, words, actions and desires today come from this place of love and beauty."
As your inner world begins to change, so too will the world around you. If there is a particular person that you have trouble with, try saying this affirmation "I treat all beings with love and kindness, may all beings know love, health, safety and peace."
The more you practice love and kindness the easier it will become for this to flow into all of your interactions and the more peaceful you will become.
